ENGAGEMENT IN MOTORSPORT
ATS was involved in motorsport from an early age: just eight years after its founding in 1969, the company went all in and entered the premier class of motorsport. Between 1977 and 1984, ATS competed in Formula 1 with its own racing team. Some well-known top drivers, such as Hans-Joachim Stuck and Gerhard Berger, raced for the team. This prestigious commitment, in particular, created an excellent foundation for the start of ATS's exemplary success story. ATS was, for example, the official and sole Wheels supplier for series such as the DTM and the ADAC Formula 4.
Currently, ATS is an equipment supplier and partner of the W Series, a Formula racing series launched in 2019 in which only women compete, and ATS will also be represented in 2024 in cooperation with Laptime-Performance at the PORSCHE SPORTS CUP Germany with a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup in ATS design.
ATS and Laptime-Performance are jointly competing in the PORSCHE Sports Cup Germany with their own Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.
ATS Wheels and Laptime-Performance have joined forces for the PORSCHE Sports Cup Germany and will compete with their own Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car. Together, they will demonstrate their skills in the prestigious racing series and achieve the best lap times on the track.
With the ATS design for the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, the team is setting new standards in terms of aesthetics and performance. The striking design guarantees a strong presence both on and off the racetrack.
